For years now DOOM has been one of the most popular and bestest FPS out there, Now, how much of a Big deal It Is to Me?; It's a very BIG deal. I have other games that mean the world to Me, more than DOOM, but DOOM was there to calm my anger, Sadness, and most Importantly, Calm my Sanity In my Life. I don't want this to be Tumblr bullshit, but this site IS about my Dedication towards DOOM and how I wanna express It, so Here It goes.
When I was around 7 or 6, I was Into things like Rayman, Sonic, Mario, all those kinda games. I then went Into the world of the Internet where I'd look at some Emulation Sites and I found under the PSX Section, possibly a very Interesting game at that; It was DOOM, and Boy Oh Boy, I was EXTREMELY Interested In It. So, I went to research on It (I was a pretty smart Kid then) and I got a Source Port, a IWAD, some WADs Doomers made, and Rock and Rolled. Did I have a blast? Yes I did, I dunno. When I played that game, All that was bugging Me In my Life just vanished when I entered the Hangar that day. Just to Let You know, I've had Severe Anxiety since the age of 13, Litterally. I've had all this built up Anger, so after a hard day, I'd sit down at my Desk, double click the .exe, and start playing Me some DOOM. Though, there were other games like Duke Nukem (that got a laugh out of Me), Quake, Blood. But DOOM... Man, It relived Me sometimes, It was a thing to be busy with and have my mind at ease. Now... About the Community.
DOOM has a very Dedicated and strong Community that holds up to this day, and I think It's the most nicest I've been In so far, even though there's shit posters and Arseholes In It, there's very nice People! But Anyway, this will be a WAD Website of sorts I suppose with my own, and others WADs as well. So I hope you like It! Oh, and WAD Reviews Included with WAD Pages.
